Die Business Unit Multimedia Solutions (MMS) stellt Glasfaser- und Kupferdatenkabel für die leitungsgebundene und mobile Kommunikation her. Diese kommen in Rechenzentren und zweckgebundenen Gebäuden wie Krankenhäusern, Schulen und Theatern ebenso zum Einsatz wie in Privathäuern, Büros und Fabriken. – mehr

Eva Maria Asante Leiterin der Sprachabteilung/Head of Language Department Goethe-Institut Ghana „Das Krankenhaus liegt in einer Gegend, die als arm bekannt ist, die sich für mich aber als sich entwickelnd entpuppt hat. Das Gebäude liegt neben einer schon bewohnten schönen Siedlung und in der Nähe werden andere gebaut, so dass der sehr ländliche Eindruck langsam verloren gehen wird. Das Krankenhaus an sich ist ein sehr schönes Gebäude von außen. Kein anderes in Ghana hat bisher einen so freundlichen Eindruck auf mich gemacht. Es gibt auch noch genügend Land um das Haus herum, so dass man später einen schönen Garten anlegen könnte. Im Gebäude hat mich die qualitativ hochwertige Verfliesung einiger weniger Räume beeindruckt. Diese Art der Fliesen ist sehr selten in Ghana. Die Aufenthaltsräume in der Mitte jeder Etage wirken wegen ihrer großen Fenster sehr freundlich. Ich hatte insgesamt den Eindruck, dass diese Architektur ihren Teil dazu beitragen könnte, dass jemand wieder gesund wird. Ich persönlich habe die Erfahrung gemacht, dass man krank aus einen Krankenhaus in Accra wieder herauskommt, obwohl man gesund hineingegangen ist, weil einfach alles so erdrückend ist. Hier habe ich genau den gegenteiligen Eindruck. Man hat sich sehr über meine Aussage amüsiert, dass dieses das schönste Krankenhaus in ganz Ghana sein wird. Natürlich muss weitergearbeitet werden. Der Rohbau steht, aber das Verputzen der Mauern, die Böden, die Fliesen… brauchen ja auch noch viel Zeit und Geld.“

Im Juni 2021 erreichte uns ein Empfehlungsschreiben des ghanaischen Gesundheitsministers, Herr Kwaku Agyeman-Manu. „Das ghanaische Gesundheitsministerium möchte seine Anerkennung aussprechen. Wir unterstützen den Bau des „Krankenhauses-Ghana“, da es unser Ziel ist, die Gesundheitsversorgung zu verbessern, sodass die medizinische Versorgung jeden, insbesondere unserer Kinder erreicht. Wir schätzen die wichtige Rolle von gemeinnützigen Organisationen, die die Lücken in unserer Gesundheitsinfrastruktur überbrücken und sind dankbar für jede Spende, die hilft, das Projekt „Krankenhaus-Ghana“ zu realisieren.“{:}{:en}

„The hospital is located in an area known to be poor, but which for me turned out to be developing. The building is next to a beautiful settlement that is already inhabited and others are being built nearby, so the very rural impression will slowly be lost.
The hospital itself is a very nice building from the outside. No other one in Ghana has made such a friendly impression on me. There is also still enough land around the hospital so that one could create a nice garden later.
In the building I was impressed by the high-quality tiling of a few rooms. This kind of tiles is very rare in Ghana. The common rooms in the middle of each floor seem very friendly because of their big windows.

All in all, I had the impression that this architecture could do its part to help someone to get well again. I personally have had the experience where you come out of a hospital in Accra sick, although you went in healthy because everything is so overwhelming. Here I have exactly the opposite impression.
They were very amused about my statement that this will be the most beautiful hospital in Ghana.
Of course we have to continue working. The shell is in place, but the plastering of the walls, the floors, the tiles… will take time and money.“
