The completion of the container house is imminent. The laundry and bed preparation facilities will be integrated into the building. The containers will be used as storage and archive rooms. Offices and staff rooms are still being built on the first floor.

The new kitchen building is being constructed opposite the hospital. We will add a covered terrace with a view of the children’s playground (in planning).

After emptying the containers, we cleaned the donations in kind and assigned them to the respective areas.
The devices are catalogued and stored in the medical technology department.
To protect the walls of the patient rooms, plastic panels were installed next to the beds.
The counters for the pharmacy and patient reception are adapted and installed.
After cleaning, we covered the areas to protect them from coarse dirt.

The heavy-duty shelves were waiting to be assembled. Once the work was done, 48 meters of shelves could be neatly packed with consumables.
A security building has been erected at the entrance.
150 meters of high-voltage cable were laid for the emergency generator. Everyone had to pitch in with this project.
The emergency power generator has already been installed in a container in Germany and prepared for operation on site in Ghana.
The connection to the power grid was carried out under the supervision of the electricity provider’s employees.
Construction of the pharmacy cabinets. The cabinets in the patient rooms have been constructed. We have also brought the lockers into the wards, with considerable effort.
The stairs in the operating theater and the entrance stairs were tiled.
The walls and floors of an operating room are now completely tiled.
Our helpers transported the donated operating room doors from the container into the operating room. After a short time, all of the doors were installed.
