The association “Help for Hospital Construction and Emergency Aid in Ghana e.V.” was founded by Dr. Okae in June 2016 and immediately registered in the association register at the Dortmund District Court under number VR7132.
In February 2018, the non-profit status was recognized by the Dortmund-Hörde tax office.
The purpose of the association is:
To collect funds
for the complete construction of the hospital up to the completion
to safeguard the principle of “Medical Solidarity” after the hospital is operational
to procure necessary equipment, materials and medicines that cannot be obtained through donations in kind
Request and obtain usable donations in kind
the storage, packing and shipping of donations in kind in containers to Ghana
