Josef Schulte and Albin Hennecke (master tilers) from Sauerland, as well as Hendrik Wilp (master painter) from Emsdetten were the first humanitarian aid workers to travel to Ghana in November 2019 to actively support our project.
Humanitarian mission November 2021
On October 30, 2021, Josef Schulte and Albin Hennecke, with their two colleagues Daniel Weiss and Stefan Ax, also master tilers from the Sauerland region, and Dr. Samuel Okae, flew to a hospital in Ghana for a humanitarian mission for 2 weeks.
Thanks to Dr. Okae’s active collaboration, bathrooms, stairs and hallways were tiled. Work also progressed outside and on the extended ground floor.
Humanitarian mission November 2022
From October 28th to November 12th, 2022, 12 helpers traveled to Ghana
to actively participate in our project.
These were, among other things:
Bathrooms and stairs tiled,
Donations in kind, some of which were still stored in containers, were transported to completed rooms, recorded and cleaned.
Medical devices were cleaned and catalogued.
In the outdoor area near the wall, the helpers planted palm trees and bougainvillea and covered the ground with gravel.
Work on the construction site begins Monday to Sunday from 8:00 a.m. and everyone returns to their accommodation at 5:00 p.m.
After a relaxing shower and a hearty warm dinner, the day ends with a convivial evening together.

From April 14th to April 28th, 2023, 16 helpers traveled to Ghana
After the 6 containers were emptied, the devices were cleaned. They were then distributed to the individual departments.
Removing waste from the drainage ditch.
The fans are waiting to be installed.
After the reception desk was completed, it was cleaned.
The laboratory is ready for use.
The IT company installed the surveillance system for the public areas.

From 17.10.-10.11.2023, 16 helpers and Dr. S. Okae traveled to Ghana
Our electricians Uli Anton and Heinrich Rodegro made the impossible possible. On the day of our departure, the emergency generator was connected to the power grid.
Visit to the village of Koleima: Since the children of the village are among the poorest and the teacher wrote on bare walls, we brought a lot of school materials and blackboards for several classrooms on our second visit.
The operating room doors are installed in three operating rooms.
The lockers were brought to the dormitories on the first and second floors using a lot of muscle power.
